Calling all teen actors, singers, and dancers!

Auditions for St. John's Drama's fall production of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, The Broadway Musical are just around the corner. Join us in celebrating the USA's 250th birthday with a piece of classic American literature celebrating its 150th anniversary!

​

Based on Mark Twain's beloved novel about a young boy growing up in the heartland of America, this musical adventure is a tale of thrilling escapes, comedy, and inspiration for the whole family. The production features foot-stomping, toe-tapping songs by Grammy Award-winning songwriter Don Schlitz and a book by Ken Ludwig.

 

When?

Initial Auditions: Monday, August 24 & Tuesday, August 25 | 7:00 PM – 9:30 PM

Callbacks: Wednesday, August 26 & Thursday, August 27 (By invitation only)

Where?

Auditions will be held in Father Ruehl Hall

at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church

120 W Main St. Front Royal, Va

Age Requirement:

Auditions are for teens only.

Actors must be 13 or older by September 30, 2026 to audition.

​

Preparation:

* Come prepared to sing 16 bars of a song (about 1 minute) not from the show. Choose a song that showcases your range and in a style appropriate to the show.

​* Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in and closed toe shoes. No flip flops.

​* You can bring music or sing acapella. An accompanist will not be provided.

* Bring a full list of conflicts between now and Thanksgiving.

​* Bring a completed audition form.

​* Bring a completed membership form and $10 per family dues.

​* Come with a great attitude and plan to have fun!
