St. John's Drama will be holding the “Back from the Dead Cemetery Walk” again this year just in time for Halloween and All Saints Day, but this isn’t your average ghost walk. The "Back from the Dead Cemetery Walk" is a faith-filled guided walking tour during which visitors will meet martyrs, saints, and others who “come to life” and reflect upon the “Last Things”: death, judgment, heaven, and hell.

Open auditions for teens (teens must be age 13 by September 30th to audition) will be held on Saturday, Sept. 4th in Padre Pio Hall and on Tuesday, Sept. 7th in Father Ruehl Hall at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Front Royal, VA beginning at 7:00 pm. If you are not available on either audition date, please contact us at stjohnsdramaclub@gmail.com.

Those auditioning should come prepared to tell a 1 minute first person story not about their personal life. We want to see you become another character telling that character’s story. You may find your own source or if you would like to prepare something from the script, send a request to stjohnsdramaclub@gmail.com.

Please remember to bring a parent to sign forms, a FULL list of conflicts between now and October 31, a completed audition form, membership form and your $10 per family annual dues.

Performances will be held October 28th, 29th, 30th, and 31st (the October 31st performance will be a matinee) at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Rehearsals will be scheduled by each director according to theirs and their assigned actors’ schedules but will generally be held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and/or Saturdays.
